From the Ozarks to Oz to Colorado Springs.

We met our nephew, Robert for breakfast this morning.  It is so bizarre meeting up with a family member somewhere in Missouri. We had a great time reconnecting.

We left Robert and headed into the flatlands of Kansas.  As we were driving along we saw a huge billboard advertising the Oz Museum right outside of Topeka.  We couldn't resist.  It was so awesome. Gwenny tried to escape to have a cat/dog fight with the cowardly lion.  Gwenny won.

Kurt found a corner that I think was put there just for him.

As we were leaving, I ran back in because I needed to use the bathroom...
Me:  do you have a bathroom I can use?
Clerk: take a right at the Tin Man and head down the hall.

A bit surreal but awesome!

After 13 hours on the road we pulled into the beautiful city of Colorado Springs.  We had dinner at a great little  Greek restaurant in Old Colorado Springs and spent the evening with Sterling the bartender.  Ended the night with local Colorado brew and some ouzo!

Tomorrow we are off to see the the wonderful natural tourist attractions of Colorado Springs.
