10 Hours, 2 States, and Almost 400 Miles Closer to Home

Loaded the car and left Wiccamucca around 7 this morning.  Heading toward Salt Lake City we hit so many different terrains.  It started out very dry and turned rocky very quickly.

At one point even Gwenny had enough of the long road ahead and started entertaining us.

Even Kurt and I started to get a bit bored on one stretch of the road.

Then as we  were about to leave Nevada and enter Utah, Gwen started barking at nothing out the window.  There wasn't anything there but grassland and small hills.  Kurt thought she might have seen an old buffalo ghost or something.  I'm not sure about that but her behavior was a bit spooky.

As we headed toward Salt Lake City all you could see for miles was a sea of white.
What a beautiful area.!

You never knew what you would find around each corner.

The clouds were incredible.  It felt like we were driving in the clouds at one point.

Then we hit the area of Moab, Utah.  The rock formations are breathtaking.

Tomorrow we are heading to Arches National Park and Canyonland National Park.  I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
