..or at least back to Mountain View. Yesterday we traveled from Sedona back to Las Vegas. We stopped at an old historic mining town called Jerome. It was high up on Mingus Mountain. It was awesome. We visited a few small quaint stores. One was called the House of Joy. Yes, at one time it was a house of joy, an old Jerome brothel. Very interesting. We also stopped for lunch along the old Route 66. We found this great old town called Seligman, Arizona and ate at the Route 66 Roadkill CafĂ©. It felt like we traveled back in time. We then drove by (and on) the Hoover Dam. For those of you who know how afraid I am of driving over high windy roads…I am facing my fears! Currently, we are sitting at the Las Vegas airport and our flight to San Francisco is delayed due to fog. Apparently, that is not unusual, but the delay can be hours. I am trying not to play the slot machines here at the airport. I keep thinking…maybe this will be the one!
