Today was the Grand Canyon
What an adventure! We left Mt. Carmel and headed to Arizona to visit the Grand Canyon. We stopped at a few places along the way to look at jewelry being sold by some Navajo women. They set up their tables along some of the scenic stops along the way. They asked us if we knew the Kennedys and if we could say "park the car in Harvard yard." Pam tried but her Boston accent was not good enough for them. Pam also had a little mishap somewhere in between Utah and Arizona...she got a little too close to the red dust on the ground. Don't worry...she is fine, but I thought the color looked so good on her I had to take a picture. I did wait until she got up off the ground. The Grand Canyon speaks for itself. The pictures don't do it justice. We visited the South Rim and can't wait to come back some day to see the North Rim. We ended our day in Sedona, Arizona. I don't ever want to come back to the real world.

I LOVE all of these posts Debbie! I'm so glad you guys are having a good time- I am so jealous of all you are seeing! This picture though is a little scary! It makes me nervous seeing you on the edge like that- I'm surprised you weren't dangling over the edge :)
ReplyDeleteIt is my summer of bravery. I was a little freaked out by it, but I am so glad that I did it. I even got more daring as the day went on.
